  • Not to put themselves, or others, at risk by their acts or omissions.
  • To co- operate with the company in the implementation of safety legislation and additional company procedures jointly agreed and designed for their own safety.
  • Not to initially recklessly interfere with or misuse any thing provided in the interests of health safety and welfare.
The management will give full backing of this policy and will support all those who endeavor to carry it out.

SECTION 2- RESPONSIBILITY FOR SAFETY ON SITE
  1. General Manager
    Will be responsible for the overall effectiveness of the site safety policy.

    Individual at every other level will need to accept degrees of responsibility in order to effectively implement the policy.

  2. Project Manager
    Responsible for co-ordination of safety on site and shall monitor safety performance during implementation and completion of contracts.

    Responsible for development of safe system of work on construction sites.

    Will identify hazards, establish responsibilities and co-ordinate the activities of appointed sub-contractors.

    Will provide information on methods of operation to be adopted, taking into account the Health and Safety issues relevant to the activities undertaken.

    Will establish clear lines of communications and identify the person to contact if there is imminent risk.
