SECTION 2- RESPONSIBILITY FOR SAFETY ON SITE
- Project Manager
Will ensure that the site Supervisor holds regular site safety meetings, and the
Company is represented at main contractor’s site safety meetings (if any).
Will assess the need for training company employees and ensure that any
requirements are actioned as necessary.
Shall ensure that subcontractors are aware pf their responsibility to suitably train their employees to safely undertake the work in hand
- Site Supervisor
Responsible for day to day running of individual sites in accordance with
statutory regulations and the Company Safety Policy.
Will ensure the company employees and subcontractors operate within the
requirements of the relevant regulations.
Shall ensure that all statutory documents including First Aid book, relevant
Abstracts of regulations, scaffold and lifting appliances registers are held,
updated and displayed as required in the site office.
Shall conduct regular site safety audits and record findings using the Company
Safety Health and Welfare Checklist Report Form.
Shall record all details of accidents using company accidents form and notify all
relevant persons.
Shall maintain a standard First Aid Box and replenish stocks as necessary.
Will record a daily log of all direct and subcontracted labour employed on site.
